• Mr Harsh & Mrs Mona

  Mr. Harsh & Mrs. Mona Shah are the owners of the Goddard School of Lyndhurst. As parents themselves, they understand the importance of early childhood development. Mr. Harsh has come from a background in Accounting and Finance, while Mrs. Mona has come from a background in Education and Public Health. Taking their years of experience, they took the journey to be a part of something larger than themselves and joined the Goddard Family. They are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment, as well as providing the highest quality preschool experience in the Lyndhurst and Bergen County Community.

  Hello! My name is Ms. Samantha, and I am so excited to be part of your child’s early learning journey! I have been part of the Goddard School Franchise since 2013, with the incredible opportunity to work at locations in both New York and San Diego, California. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and bring over a decade of hands-on experience in the early childhood field. Throughout the years, I have had the joy of working with children ranging in age from 3 months to 7 years. These formative years are such a special time, and it’s where my heart truly lies. I have always believed that a nurturing and high-quality educational experience sets the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.   My name is Yesenia and I am the Assistant Director of The Goddard of Lyndhurst. I am bringing over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. I started my career at a young age of 16 years old, I have always had the passion to teach and shape young minds. Over the years, I have worked as a classroom lead teacher, gaining hands-on experience before transitioning into management to help guide and support both staff and students in the best way possible. As a dedicated mother of two boys, I understand the importance of fostering a nurturing and loving environment both at home and in the classroom. In my free time I love baking with my children. I am very excited to continue to promote positive growth and development for every child here at The Goddard of Lyndhurst.

  My name is Ms. Isabella. I have 6 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to 6 years old. I am currently in college to get my degree in early education.   Hello! My name is Marisela, and I have been a proud member of The Goddard School family for the past two years. I began my journey here as an Assistant Teacher, then grew into the role of Preschool Lead, and I am now excited to serve as the Teacher Coordinator as part of the administrative team. I have had the privilege of working with children ranging from 6 months to 8 years old. Each stage of development has taught me something new and deepened my passion for early childhood education. Goddard has provided me with incredible opportunities for both professional and personal growth. It wasn’t until I became a full-time nanny that I found my love for watching children learn, grow & prosper every single day!   My name is Ms. Tania and I have 6 years of experience working in a daycare facility in Rutherford NJ. I have earned my bachelor's degree in exercise science from Kean University as well as a minor in youth coaching. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow every day. Children are our future! I care about my students. The most important thing is that they feel welcomed and loved.   Hi there! I’m Miss Dionna and I am happy to be a part of the Goddard School as an Assistant Teacher! My experience working with children ranges from working as a babysitter for about four years, as well as working in the public and charter school system for the past three years. My passion for education comes from my mother, who has been in the teaching field for more than 13 years! In addition to that, I come from a multicultural background with mostly African American & Puerto Rican ancestry and distant Irish and Caribbean roots. With such a big family, I grew up constantly being surrounded by children. I love to learn, and I genuinely enjoy helping children learn as well.   My name is Mrs. Jone and I am working with the children in Pre-K. A little bit about me. I have been a teacher for 18 years, working with students of all ages. My husband and I have two beautiful children, a boy and a girl, who have gone on to be very successful young adults, each choosing a field where they can use their creative strengths. I think one of the most touching and satisfying moments recently was when my son thanked me for teaching him how to think outside of the box. I have many interests and talents such as floral, interior design, fashion, cooking, music, and gardening. I am a mother of 3, twin girls and a son. I have always had a passion for kids, and love children of all ages. They are all little blessings. I have always believed that a great teacher is an asset to a child, especially in the early learning stages of their lives. A great teacher will leave a lasting impact on a child and help them succeed not only academically but also socially and help mold them into good and productive members of society.
